The fght against cancer is related to this book because the main chatracter has cancer. We think that cancer should be stopped, and this book is a good example of what affects can cer has on a family and an individual person. His struggle against cancer has impacted him greatly because he cant talk now because they took his vocal cord out to take out the cancer. Cancer is a very serious disease and this book shows it and they should come up with a cure for it.
